Welcome Back!

We’re back and in-person!

This fall is defnitely off to a bit of a “different” start, with COVID-19 mitigations in place, but we are back and ready to rock!  New graduate students Peter Loferski and Chase Dunaway got things going by setting up the panyard and percussion studio with lots of spacing, air purifiers, and sanitizer.

Peter just graduated from UA last December with a B.M. in Percussion Performance and a B.M. in Music Education.  He will be running the drumline and assisting in the band department.

Chase is from Peoria, Illinois, and just completed a B.M. in Percussion Performance from Western Illinois University, where he studied with UA alumnus, Dr. Rick Kurasz.

They both wanted to mention that they are smiling behind their masks!
