Tonight’s the night!

41st Annual Spring Concert! Today!

Peter is smiling because tonight (8pm) is our annual spring concert!  Celebrating our 41st year with music by Cliff Alexis, Boogsie Sharpe, Rick Kurasz, Jeff Neitzke, Aaron Copland, and George Gershwin.  You can find the link to the stream at www.uakron.edu/music as well as a link to make a donation to our program.  You can also purchase our 40th Anniversary shirt and limited edition Don Drumm pendants as well as our recordings and other merchandise here!

  • Don Drumm Commemorative Pendants

     $20.00 – $30.00

    Custom designed by local artist, Don Drumm, these pendants commemorate the University of Akron Steel Drum Band’s forty year anniversary.  They come in three sizes: small, medium, and large.  The small and medium sized have the option of being a necklace pendant or one that can be pinned on.  The large pendant can be displayed by a short loop, or makes a great desktop paperweight.  Remember, all proceeds support scholarship programs for University of Akron percussion students.
